2005:  Competed in 10 games in the secondary and drew three starts … Started at free safety against Wofford, Elon and Furman … Credited with 11 tackles … Picked off one pass against The Citadel and returned it 20 yards … Registered three  pass deflections … Made five stops and broke up two pass attempts in win at Elon … Recorded three tackles in victory over The Citadel … Had two hits versus Furman … Wrist injury limited his spring participation.

2004:  Redshirted ... Worked with the secondary and scout team.

STONE MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL:  An All-Area performer … Recorded 50 tackles from his defensive backfield position, second-most on the team … Tied his own school single-season record with seven interceptions … Selected Dekalb County Athlete of the Month after scoring four touchdowns and recording one interception against North Atlanta ... Also named Defensive Player of the Month ... Voted team’s Defensive Back of the Year … Picked off seven passes junior year ... Also played receiver, quarterback and place kicker ... Scored 10 offensive touchdowns in 2003 ... Pirates went 4-6 in 2003 and 6-4 in 2002 ... Coached at Stone Mountain by Jasper Jewell ... Also considered Illinois, UAB and Wisconsin ... A sprinter on the track team ... Ran 200 meters and the 4x100 and 4x400 relays.
