CHARLESTON, S.C. ? The Chattanooga volleyball team was unable to sweep its weekend visit in Charleston, S.C. as the Lady Mocs fell 3-0 to the College of Charleston on Sunday.
The Lady Mocs (11-12, 6-3 Southern) finish the weekend 1-1 after defeating The Citadel 3-0 on Saturday. The Cougars (15-6, 8-1 Southern) wrap up its weekend at 2-0 after handing Samford its first conference loss of the season on Saturday. College of Charleston took the match 25-15, 25-11, and 25-19.
Ashley Yeager led the Lady Mocs on the afternoon as the junior put down 10 kills for the Lady Mocs. College of Charleston's defense was able to keep the Chattanooga offense out of sync during the contest as the Lady Mocs were held to a .044 hitting percentage. The Cougars were also able to register 10 blocks in the match.

Cassie Conner finished the game with a team-high 13 assists to Huff's 12.
Lara Newberry had 21 digs, which was tied for the most in the match with the Cougars' Emily Shelton.
College of Charleston's Whitney Russell led all players in the match with 11 kills, while Cole Dawley had a match-high 30 assists.
The Lady Mocs now return home for a two-game conference weekend against UNC Greensboro and Elon. Chattanooga will play UNC Greensboro on Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. while Sunday's matchup against Elon is slated for 4 p.m. from Maclellan Gym.
