COLUMBIA, Mo. --- Despite 18 points from Ty Patterson and a double-double from Nicchaeus Doaks, the Chattanooga men's basketball team dropped the second game of the season 103-75 to Missouri (2-0).

Patterson, playing in his first season with the Mocs, continued to pour in points for Chattanooga (0-2) as the junior transfer has scored in double figures both games this season.

The aforementioned Doaks also scored in double figures with 16 points. The senior brought down a game-high tying 10 rebounds.

Khalil Hartwell came close to his own double-double, dropping in nine points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Freshman Jasper Williams was the only other Moc to score in double figures, with 14.

The story of the game was a massive second half run by the Tigers, who only led 43-37 going into the break. Through the first seven and a half minutes of the second half Missouri would go on a 28-9 to take a commanding 73-46 lead.

During the second half the shooting percentages of both teams told the story as the Mocs shot only 37 percent from the field, compared to the Tigers' 56 percent.

Missouri's pressure style defense also played a role in the contest as the Tiger defense forced 20 turnovers, while the Mocs were only able to force 9 Mizzou turnovers.

Next up for Chattanooga will be national runner-up Memphis on Thursday, Nov. 20 in the 2008 O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Classic from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Tipoff is slated for 4:30 p.m. ET and will be televised nationally on ESPNU.
