UTC-Boston College Box Score
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- Behind solid efforts from all four UTC pitchers and clutch hitting, the Chattanooga softball team won its third straight game Thursday with a 5-3 victory over Boston College.

After a scoreless fourth, BC was able to regain the lead on a RBI single by pinch-hitter, Gemma Ypparila.
The Lady Mocs would be held scoreless in the fifth, but were able keep the Eagles hitters at bay as UTC entered the sixth with the heart of its lineup due to hit. Fuzzard led off the frame with a single into centerfield to get the inning started.
After a Tiffany Baker sacrifice advanced Fuzzard to second, Toni Hutchison put runners on the corners with her second single of the afternoon. The next hitter, Brittany Eason, then hit a ball that went through the legs of BC's second baseman to tie the game at 3-apiece.
During the very next at bat, Chattanooga would take the lead thanks to a wild pitch from Morgan Kidd, scoring pinch-runner Kristin Holloway. Lauren Flores then gave the Lady Mocs a big insurance run with a single, bringing in Eason.
In the top of the seventh, Kaity Holloway was able to slam the door on the Eagles for her second save of the season.
