- Helped the Trojans win back-to-back Tennessee 6-AAA State championships and was state runner-up first two seasons
- Named First-Team All-State and Chattanooga Times Free Press "Best of Preps" First Team in final two campaigns
- Totaled 223 hits, 187 runs, 79 RBIs and 118 stolen bases
- Played basketball three seasons, named All-District each year
- Named All-District Tournament MVP and All-Region as a senior

- Cara played two years of softball at Chattanooga State before earning two letters in softball as an outfielder at Memphis
