TEAM
- The 24th-ranked Chattanooga Mocs broke a 15-game losing streak to Furman with a 36-28 win...UTC improves to 5-2 overall and 4-1 in SoCon action...UTC is now 14-26 all-time against the Paladins.    

- The Mocs are on a five-game winning streak for the first time since head coach Russ Huesman was a junior defensive back on the 1980 squad...that is also the last season UTC has had four-straight wins in SoCon action. 

- Mocs had a season-high 568 yards of total offense...it is their most since recording 695 in a 59-56 win against Appalachian State on Oct. 30, 2004. 

- UTC put up a season-high 432 passing yards against the No. 2 rated passing defense in the nation...Furman came into the game allowing a SoCon-low 101.2 yards in the air per game this season. 

- UTC trailed 28-10 going into the 4th quarter...the Mocs scored four TDs in 4:15 seconds to mount the largest fourth-quarter comeback in school history.

- The 26 points UTC put up in the 4th quarter is their best in the final frame since scoring 29 against ETSU in a 43-26 win on Nov. 9, 1991.    

- UTC snapped a four-game losing streak when ranked...the Mocs are now 3-10 all-time when ranked...the last win as a ranked team came on Sept. 5, 1992, when the 17th-ranked Mocs defeated Boise State 35-20 on the road. 

- UTC was 11-21 on third downs in the games...Furman was 1-10. 

- The Mocs committed a season-high five TOs (four INTs and one fumble). 

- Total team effort in the win today...all five TDs were scored by a different Moc. 

- The Mocs defense forced turnovers on three of Furman's last five possessions.

- Furman special teams forced a bad punt, blocked a field goal and blocked an extra point in the game.

- Furman's Ryan Steed grabbed a tipped pass from Mocs QB B.J. Coleman and returned it 63 yards for a TD for a 7-0 lead...coincidentally, the last time the Mocs gave up a pick-six was on the first play from scrimmage against the Paladins last season when Max Lerner returned that INT 43 yards for a 7-0 lead. 

- The Mocs went 2-5 in the Red Zone with a field goal in the first half...they converted their last four chances in the Red Zone. 

- UTC ran 102 offensive plays in the game (59 passing and 43 rushing)...Furman was held to just 54 plays (21 passing and 33 rushing) in the game. 

- The Mocs defense held Furman to a season-low 221 yards of total offense. 

- With the win over No. 25 Furman, UTC is now 2-2 against ranked teams in 2010...coupled with last week's victory over No. 18 Georgia Southern, the Mocs have won two-straight over ranked teams.   

INDIVIDUAL
Junior WR Joel Bradford
                - Career-high and school-record 274 yards receiving...broke his own UTC mark of 254 yards set against Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 11.
                - Has the two highest single-game receiving totals in the NCAA this season. 
                - Six yards shy of the SoCon record set by Appalachian State's DaVon Fowlkes vs. Elon on Nov. 6, 2004).   
                - 15 catches is a career-high
                - 875 receiving yards in 2010 is the seventh highest total in school history. 

Junior QB B.J. Coleman
                - 33-58 for a career-high 432 yards passing and two touchdowns.
                - 5th most passing yards in a game in school history...12th most in SoCon history.
                - Most passing yards in a game since Cedric Stevens had 515 against Appalachian State in 2004. 
                - Most passing yards in the SoCon this season.
                - 16 TDs against seven INTs on the season.
                - 3rd highest total in the NCAA this season.     
                - Career-high four interceptions.
               
- Has 4,219 passing yards in his career...passing Antonio Miller (2004-07) and Tim Couch (1984-86) for No. 6 on the Mocs all-time list. 

Freshman DB Don Cope
                - Took the ball away from Furman on kickoff coverage in the 4th quarter, giving UTC 1st and 10 on the Paladin 24. 

Junior DL Nick Craig
                - Career-high and tied for team-high with eight tackles.  

Junior DL Chris Donald
                - Added 1.5 sacks to go with six tackles. 
                - Now has seven sacks on the year...came into the game 13th in the nation.

Sophomore RB J.J. Jackson
                - 38 yards on nine carries.
                - Added his second TD run of the year.

Senior WR Chris Pitchford
                - Four catches for 27 yards.
                - TD catch in the 2nd quarter is his second of the season...9th of his career...first since the first TD of the season-opener against Appalachian State on Sept. 4.
                - Had no catches in the previous two games

Sophomore PK Jeff Veres
                - Connected from 20 yards on his first FG since the Jacksonville State game on Sept. 11.
                - Veres is a WR who was pressed into kicking duties since the injury to freshman Nick Pollard.

Freshman Kadeem Wise 
                - Picked off his UTC freshman record sixth pass of the season.
                - Six picks in a year is tied for fourth all-time at UTC...school-record is eight for a single season. 

Senior RB Erroll Wynn
                - Led the team with 65 yards on 19 carries and one TD.
                - Has 2,294 career rushing yards...passes Carey Henry (1958-61) and Robert Smith (1967-70) for 6th place on the all-time rushing list.  
                - Now has 546 career rushing attempts, passing Gwain Durden (1977-80) for fourth place all-time at UTC.
