- This is the first win for the Governors in eight trips to Chattanooga...UTC had won four straight in the series coming into tonight's contest.    
- Chattanooga starts the season 0-2 for the second time in three years.
- APSU doubled up the Mocs at the FT line, shooting 14-28 compared to UTC's 7-14. 
- Chattanooga got 30 points off its bench. 
- Austin Peay turned 18 offensive rebounds into 16 second chance points in the game...the Govs outrebounded the Mocs 44-32 overall.
