Head Coach Frank Reed
On the sweep:

"I thought that we hit the ball well all weekend. I felt like that we had a lot of opportunities that did not fall in for us. I thought that we let them hang around for two games and made them feel like they could [steal a game]. We gradually scored some runs and hit the ball really well today. Della had a big hit in the seventh inning to cap it off. She also came through yesterday. We got to build off that and take care of business after sweeping on the road."

On the triple by Lauren Flores that broke open the game:
"Lauren had a great weekend to take that ball to the opposite field on the Samford shift (right fielder plays in right center). Sometimes that comes back to bit you if you don't play someone straight up. They were trying to throw her inside and jam her. She got her hands inside the ball and took it to right field. It was a great piece of hitting and then hit the ball hard the next couple of times."

On the pitching performance by Nikki Waters:
"We needed Nikki to do that after what happened to Brooke [Loudermilk] that is why we call ourselves a [pitching] staff. We wanted Brooke to go in and finish up the weekend, but it was great to get that performance from Nikki and have her go all the way. It is a little easier for her to go all the way with the runs that we put up on the board."

On the grand slam by Della Harrison:
"I am glad that Della had a great week. She had a great week last week in practice. I just knew that she was right there. If this does not tell her what she can do and bust her out, then I don't know what will. I think that we are going to see a different Della coming up to the plate from now on."

"I am proud of her. She is a walk on kid and has worked her tail off. She has paid the price and brings it every day. She definitely deserves it."

Senior Della Harrison
On the grand slam:

"Today that pitch was like a big pumpkin. I was expecting to get a hit and drive some runs, but not that [a grand slam]."

"Honestly, I think that it was due for me to step up. Coach Reed always to bring practice into the game, be your best every single time that you come up to bat."

On your mindset as a pinch hitter:
"When, I came to bat today. I just had fun. Coach [Jeff] Martin always tells us to have fun, relax and do what you do best."

On driving the first run of the game in on Saturday:
"When, I am in there. I figured that I had to go in and do what I know how to do. There is a tunnel that the coaches talk about and it's the batter and pitcher and you just go for it. I did the best that I could."

Junior Lauren Flores
On the triple:

"I just knew that we had runners in scoring position and one of my teammates (Tiffany Baker) has been really talking to me to keep my confidence up. She told me to go up there and see the ball and hit the ball. I was confident when I went up there and hit the ball."

On taking advantage of the shift you saw by the outfielders:
"I knew when they shifted that I was going to get a slower pitch because they assumed that I was going to pull it. I moved up in the box and tried to take it to right field."

"We had runners on base all weekend and it was just like we were never hitting them in. With that one, I just saw the ball and hit it."
