Head Coach Frank Reed
On the two victories:
"When you spot someone three runs and your number one pitcher struggles. I would have never thought that Brooke [Loudermilk] would have lasted a long as she did. I never thought that we would have battled back, but nobody really stressed anymore than I did. When we got that one run, I thought that we could crawl back into it and the kids found a way. We got some timely hits, but had some opportunities early. When you spot a team three runs, they were fired up and so were their fans. We were able to slam the door on their faces, when we brought Kandice [Irwin] in. That was an awesome victory. In the next game, they were a little tentative and I thought once we adjusted to [Megen] Smith's pitching we were fine."

On Nikki Waters' pitching effort:
"Her curve has given her trouble at times, but what she did well was hit her spots. We got to throw her riseball a little bit today. She threw her fastball really well and got groundouts and jammed them up a little bit with that. She did what she needed to do."

On Brooke Loudermilk struggling in the first:
"She has done that before in getting off to a slow start. That is something she can't do against good teams in spotting them three runs. She shuts the door and gave us a chance in the late innings. It could have been a 1-0 ball game there very easily."

Junior Third Baseman Tiffany Baker
On the game winning homerun:
"I was just trying to think about hitting the ball up the middle. I did not hit was well as I wanted in the first game. In the second game, I was going up there hacking a little bit. It was a low and inside pitch and not the typical home run. I originally thought that it might have been too high. Their pitcher relies on hitting the corners and spots as her ball does not move that much."

On facing Brianna Streetmon again tomorrow:
"I think we became more aggressive towards the end and saw more pitches. We were not going after her pitch. Instead, we were waiting on our pitch, the one that we could drive. We are going to definitely play more relaxed knowing that we have won the series."

On the comeback:
"It shows heart and dedication and not giving up. We believed in the coaches around you to make the adjustments."

Junior Pitcher Nikki Waters
On your pitching performance:
"It was pretty good and could have been better, but we won both games."

On your curve and changeup:
"The curveball and changeup were not as effective. We did not throw them as much today and ended up sticking with the fastball."

On the Georgia Southern hitters:
"They were very aggressive at the plate swinging at the first pitches allowing us to get some quick outs, which was really good. I rather have a team like that because its bang, bang plays and we get out of the inning fast."

Sophomore Shortstsop Jessica Traxler
On three hits:
"I felt really good today. I just kept telling myself to see the ball and hit it hard. I was not too aggressive or anxious, so I just stayed back and went with the pitch."
