"I threw a mixture of pitches, but what really dominated was the curve and the change. The changeup worked well today, whereas it didn't early in the season."

"Everything at the beginning of the season was mental and I am beginning to get my head on straight now. I have to know that I am going to go out there and do the best that I can. I am focusing on one pitch at a time."

"I feel like a made a lot of good strides today because I got to push through my trouble innings, whereas teams have scored in the fifth and sixth and Kandice Irwin has had to come on in relief. She comes in and shuts teams down, but I have to push through tough innings and know that that is what I have to do. This is a good pitching performance to follow through on this week going into the Georgia Southern series. Southern is a great team and we have to beat them right off the bat, rather than play 10 innings like we did today with the eighth-seeded team."
