Head Coach Frank Reed
On taking the doubleheader:
"It is big. We won another extra inning game today, had an extra inning game last week and had an extra inning game at Georgia Southern. We took care of business when we needed to. I was really worried for a little bit. I will be honest with you I was disappointed in the first game. I thought that we would come out understanding the things that we needed to go and I got on them between games."

"Fourteen hits is pretty big for us along with two home runs. We had some well hit balls and things fell for us. I am excited that everything came together today. It is pressure every year to win it. The pressure is multiplied this year by playing so many extra inning and close games."

On winning another regular season title:
"I am proud of them they are a hard working squad and its very deserving. To win another conference championship is big for them. We are excited that we could do it for UTC and the fans back home."

On Brooke Loudermilk's effort in game two:
"Quite honestly, she gave up that home run and the first thing that runs through my mind is here we go again. She settled down and pitched a one hitter and that was big. At that particular moment, I could not tell you that would happen. She did buckle down and is notorious even when pitching well to have bad first innings. I was proud of her. She told me that she had confidence in her mental game today. The way that I see it is that she is a senior and that is all the she needs to do. She needs to be mentally focused because she has all the tools to pitch a great game. It always makes it better when we get runs behind her. She has set the bar pretty high for herself [in her first two years]."

On your approach to the final four games of the season:
"I say that we are playing for momentum and carry it right into the tournament. It gives us an opportunity to do some other things with kids and get them into games. We are excited about that. We are not going to give up any games, though. We need to dig down and challenge ourselves a little more. The conference tournament is not going to be easy. It is going to be four good teams that have scrambled to get there. We have been the fortunate ones to win the regular season. Those other four teams are going to be tough."

Senior Pitcher Brooke Loudermilk
On your focus today:
"I guess I have been working on having confidence no matter what happens. I can't control the things behind me, but I can control how I react to them. It was just like don't let one hit effect the outcome of the game because that is just one hit. Of course it was a pretty big hit and put us behind in the first inning. I knew that our team was going to be better and one hit was not going to be the deciding factor."

On winning the regular season title:
"It is a great feeling. We were all screaming on the bus. It is good to know that going into the last weekend that there is not that pressure of waiting for somebody else to lose or win. It is good to know that over the past four years that we have had great players and to know that the current team will keep it up when we are out of here. It is a great feeling because they were the three seed (UNCG coming into the weekend) and we put them down."

Junior Third Baseman Tiffany Baker
On the team's thoughts going into the doubleheader:
"We were just telling ourselves to play with the same heart that we have had all year and play for the person that stands besides you in the dugout. Don't let the girl standing beside you mess up or be disappointed in yourself. I think that went a long way today."

On capturing the title:
"It is definitely important because we did not want to have to make this drive back up here. It is the same drive basically. It is nice to have the tournament at home. Our home fans can come and we can do it on our home field. The pieces are starting to fall where they need to fall."

"I think just having a target on your back the entire season is a big relief that comes off for atleast a week or so. You can kind of relax and just play for each other. We no longer have to worry about what other people are doing."

On having no pressure next weekend:
"Next weekend, we play for the seniors. You play for the five girls that have been here for four years. You play for them and let them have the fame and glory for a week of having all of their friends and family at the stadium."

Sophomore Shortstop Jessica Traxler
On the home run that ignited the offense:
"I was not really seeing the ball well and you could tell that by my other at bats. I did not want to lose the game, so I was just thinking about seeing the ball and hitting it hard somewhere."

Senior Second Baseman Tia Blosser
On the go-ahead home run and the five-run inning:
"I was pumped and that was an inning that the team needed and it was awesome to see the bats came alive. Trax [Jessica Traxler] really started it off by hitting the home run to tie it up."
