Head Coach Frank Reed
On leaving runners on base and missed opportunities:
"We played hard today eventhough we won the conference yesterday, but we gave up a couple of walks that hurt us. If Kaiti [Kelley]was able to make that catch in the outfield, then we probably still would have won that game. It is such a mental high going in and winning those two games [yesterday] and then coming in and maintaining that same high is tough. Maybe, it was a little bit of a letdown, but I am not too worried about it."

On next weekend:
"We want to win those games, which should be an incentive going into the tournament. It is always good to be home, when you know you have sown up the conference. It will be senior day and those seniors have a lot to be proud of winning their fourth [conference championship], which is pretty special."

Sophomore Jessica Traxler
On having another good performance today:
"Wel, I have been in a slump for quite a while and I think the home run yesterday boosted my confidence and helped me to regain my confidence. I did carry it over into today's game. I was trying to do anything that I could to help my team."

On your confidence and changes you made going up against Harrell again:
"I made some adjustments. I knew that yesterday she threw first pitch strikes to almost every batter. When I was up there, I told myself to swing at that first pitch. I also remember that she threw high often and remembered to lay off of it."

On next weekend:
"It is probably going to be an emotional weekend. I want to do my best and I know that the team is going to do its best. We want them to end their career on a high note during that final conference weekend and then carry that momentum into the tournament."
