TEAM
- The Mocs improve to 13-10 overall and 9-2 in the SoCon with an 85-76 win over Elon...the Phoenix falls to 10-12 overall and 4-7 in the league...UTC is 6-0 at home in league play, 3-2 on the road...the Mocs are 9-2 in the league for the first time since 2007-08.
- The Mocs are in first place in the SoCon North Division at 9-2 and tied for the best record in the league with Wofford...the rest of the North looks like this: Western Carolina 5-5 (9-13), UNC Greensboro 4-6 (4-16), Elon 4-7 (10-12), Appalachian State 4-7 (8-13) and Samford 3-7 (11-11)... Chattanooga is 7-0 against North Division opponents, 2-2 vs. the South.
- Chattanooga had a season-high with 4,451 fans in attendance at the game.
- The Mocs outrebounded the Phoenix 46-38...UTC leads the SoCon in rebound margin (+4.1), rebounding (40.0 rpg) and defensive rebounds pct (74.0%)...Mocs are 12-4 when outrebounding their opponent.

Junior Jahmal Burroughs
- Tied for game-high with eight rebounds.
- Had seven in the first half, including five offensively.
- Played just nine minutes off the bench.
- 5.4 rpg last five games...3.3 on the year.
Junior Chris Early
- Career-high 21 points on 7-10 shooting, 2-3 from 3-pt. range and 5-8 from the FT line.
- First career 20-point outing.
- Career-high seven FGs.
- 11th double-figure scoring game of the year.
- Added four boards and two assists.
Sophomore Dontay Hampton
- Four points on 2-3 shooting.
- Averaging 5.8 ppg last four games...2.8 on the year.
- Added two assists and two steals in just 10 minutes.
- Played double-figure minutes in each of the last four games.

Junior Ricky Taylor

Junior Omar Wattad
- 19 points on 6-14 shooting, 4-9 from 3-pt. range and 3-3 from the FT line.
- Tied a career-high with five assists.
- Added five boards.
- Scored double-figures for the first time in three games.
- Broke out of a shooting slump...was 1-15 from 3-pt. range in his previous three games.
