CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs men's
basketball team added its second signee of the early period today with point
guard Jonathan Stark. Stark, 5'10", 160-lbs., joins the program from Munford
High School outside Memphis, Tenn.
""Jonathan is a jet quick out there," Head Coach John
Shulman noted. "He's very fast...very athletic at the one. He can handle it,
distribute it and has a great mid-range game. He can shoot the three and he can
dunk on your head.
"We are very excited to add Jonathan to our backcourt
next season."
Stark played at Brighton in 2011-12 before moving onto
Munford for this season. He averaged 21 points and more than six assists per
contest as a junior after 10.7 points and 3.5 assists per game as a sophomore.
Among his list of offers per various recruiting sites included George Mason,
TCU, Lipscomb and Long Island.
Stark joins Christian
Kennedy, a 6'10", 200-lb., post from Northside High School in Warner
Robins, Ga., on the Mocs early signee list.
