- UTC dominated the glass against the bigger KSU team 48-30.
- Chattanooga had 16 offensive boards to KSU's nine, but the Owls outscored the Mocs 18-16 in second-chance points.
- Despite the size disadvantage inside, the Mocs outscored Kennesaw State 52-42 in the paint.
- The Mocs committed a season-high 22 turnovers.
