Throughout spring practice MocsVision is running “Mic'd Up,” a series of videos that features one of Chattanooga football's assistant coaches in an all-access look at preparations on the field. This week's opening installment highlights new offensive coordinator Jeff Durden.
Coach Durden wore a mic for a recent practice at Scrappy Moore Field and the MocsVision crew cut down the highlights into the attached feature.
UTC returns 10 starters and 21 lettermen on offensive, including quarterback Jacob Huesman, All-American tight end Faysal Shafaat and leading receiver/quarterback Terrell Robinson. Coach Durden is entering his first spring at UTC after spending the previous nine years as offensive coordinator at James Madison.
The Mocs will hold the first scrimmage of the spring on Friday at 4:00 p.m. (E.D.T) at Finley Stadium. This scrimmage is open to UTC Mocs Club members. Contact Director Caleb Whitted (caleb-whitted@utc.edu – (423) 425-4773) for more information on joining the UTC Mocs Club.
