FOR STARTERS
- Tennessee Tech leads series 41-16, 27-5 in Cookeville…Mocs are now 7-6 in the DI era against TTU.
- Chattanooga led by as many as 19 in the game…45-26 after Justin Tuoyo's layup at 18:36.
- The Mocs led for all but 2:50 of the game.
KEY SPURTS
- Tennessee Tech closed the game on a 30-12 run over the final 12:00.
- After Greg Pryor's layup with 9:42 to play, the Mocs led by 14 (57-43)…had five turnovers in their next six possessions…went more than four minutes without a field goal.
- Chattanooga built a 17-point halftime advantage finishing the final 5:27 of the first half with a 16-4 run.
BOARD WORK
- The Mocs were out-rebounded 38-27…Tech held a 22-12 advantage on the glass in the second half.
- The Golden Eagles had 14 offensive rebounds…recorded 12 second chance points, eight in the second half.
TURNOVERS
- Chattanooga's press worked well in the opening half forcing 13 turnovers…TTU had just four in the second 20.
- The Mocs had 11 in the second half, 17 for the game…seven of those 17 came in the final 10 minutes.
- Tech had 20 points off turnovers compared to 16 for the visitors.
SHOT CHART
- Chattanooga's 48.0% (24-50) is its best total against a DI opponent this season.
- Shot 51.6% (16-31) in the first 20 minutes, 42.1% (8-19) in the second.
