Thoughts on the game
“Fouls caught up with us a little bit, but we played well for 34 minutes. We weren't as tough with the ball in the last six minutes. We turned the ball over way too much in the second half. We just weren't as tough with the ball. Our defense wasn't that tough. We gave up way too many drives. We got a little too excited and got away from the scout a little bit. That hurt us, and they pounded us on the backboards pretty good. We had more offensive rebounds than them in the first half, and we didn't go to the glass as much. They hurt us on the glass and we knew that could happen.”
Thoughts on shootings beyond the arc
“We shot it well. We are going to be a good shooting team. We didn't get as many looks in the second half, and we were trying to go to the rim and be aggressive. We did that decently, but we have to be tougher with our finishes.”
Thoughts on the team's play
“We did some things pretty well for 34 minutes, but it is a 40 minute game. We have to do it possession-by-possession for 40 minutes. They don't turn the clock off after 34 minutes. We had some makings of doing some really good things, but now is the time for us to put it all together. We put it together for a period of time tonight, but it wasn't long enough.”
On moving forward
“We're looking forward to getting back home. We have to get some stuff corrected in the next couple of days of practice and we'll be fired up and ready to go. We have Robert Norris on Wednesday and we'll be ready to go.”

“We didn't execute down the stretch. They made some big plays and had some big offensive rebounds, and we had some big turnovers. It happens. I think we're going to be a really good team, based on the first half and most of the second half. We just aren't there yet.”

“We executed well in the first half, and the coaches came up with a great game plan. We executed it perfectly in the first half and most of the second half, but we strayed away during the second.”
On the Mocs' foul trouble
“We have a deep roster. Even though Casey Jones got into some foul trouble we were able to make good subs.”
On moving forward
“It'll be nice playing at McKenzie. We've only played one game there so far, so it'll be nice to be back in Chattanooga.”
