The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga football team hosts its annual Military Appreciation Day against Wofford on Saturday, Nov. 8. This is the regular season home finale for the Mocs and kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) at Finley Stadium.
Special pregame and halftime festivities are planned for Military Appreciation Day. UTC alum and Chattanooga native James Rogers is scheduled to perform his Bicentennial song “Fly, Eagle, Fly” at halftime, along with a flight from the America Eagle Foundation's Challenger.
There is FREE admission for current and retired Military, Veterans and their immediate families with a valid ID. Accredited Military and Veterans groups can also get group tickets for their members by contacting the UTC Ticket Office at 423 425-5273.
Free tickets can be picked up with a valid Military or Veteran ID at the First Tennessee Pavilion ticket windows on game day. Dependent IDs will also be accepted. Anyone with a valid Military, Veteran or Dependent ID can purchase additional tickets for $5 for those in a group who do not have a Military ID.
The Mocs are 6-3 overall and can clinch to Southern Conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Playoffs with a win on Saturday. The Terriers are in third place in the SoCon (5-3, 3-1 SoCon) and still have a shot at the Championship themselves.
