University of Tennessee at Chattanooga juniors
Corey Levin and
Keionta Davis both made the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) All-American team announced today. The AFCA picks one team of offense, defense and specialists for the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
Levin is an offensive lineman from Dacula, Ga. He is a two-time winner of the Jacob's Blocking Award as the top offensive lineman in the Southern Conference.
Davis is a defensive end from Chattanooga. He set a new single-season sack record at UTC with 13.5 this season.
It is now safe to call both Levin and Davis consensus All-Americans, since this was the fifth honor of the postseason for Levin and the fourth for Davis.
The AFCA has selected an All-America team since 1945 and currently selects teams in all five of its divisions. What makes these teams so special is that they are the only ones chosen exclusively by the men who know the players the best — the coaches themselves, according to
today's press release.
