Former University of Tennessee at Chattanooga quarterback B.J. Coleman signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League this week. A standout with the Mocs from 2009-11, Coleman was a seventh round draft pick of the Green Bay Packers in 2012.
He spent two seasons with the Packers (2012-13) and also played in the Arena League for the Arizona Rattlers in 2015.
Coleman made a tremendous impact on UTC's program after transferring from Tennessee. His 6,871 career passing yards are third all-time and his 52 passing TDs are second in the Mocs' record books. He is also just one of two in school history with six+ 300-yard passing games.
The CFL schedule begins in June. To see the full release from the Roughriders,
