Mocs Have Two Matches on the Schedule This Week

UTC travels to Sewanee and is home against EKU.
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team is back in action with two matches this week. UTC travels to Sewanee on Wednesday, Feb. 24, and hosts Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, Feb. 27.
The Mocs are 3-5 overall with seven matches left on the non-conference schedule. Junior Lucas Plesky has won five in a row and is 3-0 at No. 2 in the spring. He and senior Luke Saunders are 2-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Sewanee is 4-1 overall and came into the spring ranked No. 29 in the NCAA Division III. UTC is 3-0 all-time against the Tigers, including a 6-1 win in the last meeting on April 12, 2000. Match time is set for 4:30 p.m. (E.S.T.).
The EKU match has moved from the Baylor School Courts to the Champions Club, with first serve at Noon. It is a doubleheader with the women's teams playing at the same time.
The Colonels are 7-6 overall, and riding a six-match winning streak. The Mocs were 7-0 all-time against EKU until last year's 5-2 loss in Richmond, Ky., gave the Colonels their only win in the series.
