The Chattanooga Mocs announced the 2016 football schedule today. UTC has an 11-game schedule set for the fall, including six home contests at Finley Stadium. The featured road game is a Nov. 19 trip to defending FBS National Champion Alabama.
The Mocs are going for their fourth Southern Conference Championship in a row, beginning Sept. 1 with a Thursday night home opener against Shorter. The Mocs also host Presbyterian in their other non-conference game the following week on Saturday, Sept. 10.
UTC's SoCon home games include Samford on Sept. 24, Homecoming against Mercer on Oct. 8, VMI on Oct. 22 and Military Appreciation Day against Wofford on Nov. 12.
In addition to the Alabama game, UTC also travels to Furman on Sept. 17, ETSU on Oct. 1, The Citadel on Oct. 15 and Western Carolina on Oct. 29.

2015 season ticket holders should look for renewal information that will be mailed out this month. New season tickets go on sale on April 1 on GoMocs.com or by calling the UTC Ticket Office at (423) 266-MOCS (6627).
Season tickets start at $40 for youth, $55 for UTC faculty, staff and alumniA. Season ticket prices for the general public begin at $85.
