Â
CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs celebrate five special seniors Saturday in a doubleheader with the women's program. The men welcome Mercer at 5 p.m., in the final regular season home game for the quintet of
Johnathan Burroughs-Cook,
Casey Jones,
Tre' McLean,
Greg Pryor and
Justin Tuoyo.
Â
Jones is the elder statesman of the group as a fifth-year senior. Pryor, McLean and Tuoyo have four years invested with the Mocs, while Burroughs-Cook came on board prior to the school-record 29 wins a season ago.
Â
The Mocs have 101 wins since Jones entered Gig City in 2012. Pryor's total is 88, while McLean and Tuoyo have 70 apiece. Burroughs-Cook has been a key part of the 48 wins over the last two years.
Â
The Bears are led by Ria'n Holland's 17.9 point-per-game average which is fourth in the Southern Conference. McLean and Tuoyo pace the Mocs at 14.1 and 13.1 points per contest, respectively.
Â
It's not only a celebration of the seniors, but Fan Appreciation Day as well. A special Power C Mosaic graces center court with fan photos from this season. General admission seats are just $5 with kids in their youth jerseys admitted free with paying adult.
Â
The game airs on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app after the women face Wofford at 2 p.m. It broadcasts over the airwaves on Real 96.1 FM in Chattanooga and worldwide via GoMocs.com as well as the iHeart Radio and TuneIn apps.

5 Notes to Know
- Chattanooga has secured one of the coveted top 6 seeds for the upcoming SoCon Championships. Mocs are locked into the 4/5 slot facing Wofford. Mercer is still in the hunt at No. 6, one game behind Samford.
- 21-4 (.840) in last 25 SoCon home matchups.
- Looking for 20th win which would be the fourth SoCon school with 20 wins. Power 5 conference you say? There are only four leagues with four or more teams with 20 wins: ACC (5), Big Ten (5), Pac 12 (4) and SEC (4).
- 40 SoCon wins since 2014-15 is two shy of school-record (42) for 3-year period (1982-84/1992-94). The 40-12 (.769) mark leads Wofford (37-16) by 3.5 games and is five clear of ETSU (35-17).
- A win marks the 20th 20-win season in school history. It would be the first time since the 1992 through 1994 seasons the squad won 20 in three consecutive campaigns.

Matt McCall on…
Mercer matchup:
"A very challenging opponent to prepare for with everything they run on the offensive end. We have to do an unbelievable job preparing over the next 24 hours getting the guys ready. Not so much focused on actions per se, but on our defensive concepts."
Â
Senior Day:
"Tomorrow is completely about them. Every one that is in this program, that's a part of this program has to make it about them and lay it on the line to win this game for them. They've put their heart and soul for two, three, four, even five years. They need to finish it the right way, and we need to make sure anyone associated with our program knows how important it is."
