The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team is back on the road this weekend. The Mocs travel to ETSU on Friday for a Southern Conference match against the Buccaneers.
"ETSU is one of the top teams in the conference," stated head coach
Chad Camper. "They have had a good season and we will have to battle hard from the first point. Our team knows how to battle and we need to have that mindset going in."
Match time is set for 1:00 p.m. (E.D.T.) on Johnson City on Friday, March 17.
The Mocs bring an 11-3 overall record and a 1-0 mark in SoCon action. Sophomore
Caroline Hall has won five-straight and is 8-1 at No. 3. Junior
Samantha Caswell is 8-4 at No. 1. She teams with senior
Rachele Gazzola at No. 1 doubles and the pair is 8-3 in the spring.
The Bucs are the defending SoCon Champions and have a 5-4 overall record. They have won two in a row, but this is their first league match. Two of their four losses have been on the road to Virginia Tech and N.C. State.
