Sophomore Dorota Zalewska led the Chattanooga Mocs on day two of the Cardinal Cup.

LOUISVILLE---The Chattanooga Mocs are in ninth-place with 18 holes remaining at Louisville's Cardinal Cup. The Mocs shot 305 over the second 18 at UofL Golf Course.
Dorota Zalewska's 75 was the top tally on the quad. Esme Hamilton and Rheagan Hall each scored 76 with Maddy McDanel contributing 78. Kirsty Beckwith's 81 was the drop score.
McDanel and Hamilton have the low 36-hole score with matching 151s. Zalewska is one behind the pair with 152, while Hall and Beckwith have 156.
That gives Chattanooga a 605 total. That's seven behind the seventh-place duo of Mercer and Middle Tennessee. The Mocs are directly ahead of Western Kentucky Minnesota by one and three strokes, respectively. No. 20 Kentucky is the leader with 584. Louisville's Hana Ryskova and Kansas' Sera Tadokoro share the individual lead at 140.

- Third time this season Zalewska has led the team in scoring, second not sharing the low score. Four different Mocs scored the round of the day this season: Hamilton (7), McDanel (4) and Hall (1).
- Career-high five birdies for Zalewska. It was her fourth card with three or more. It's the third time by a Moc this year with Hamilton (1) and McDanel (1) also recording five in a round. Hamilton's six while shooting 66 in the final round of the Princess Anne Invite is the season high.
- The counting cards shot 1 over on the day on the four par 3s. Hamilton was 1 under on the holes, the ninth time in 14 rounds this season she's been par or better on the short holes. Her season average is a team-best 3.04 (+3).
