Moritz Lammel and the Chattanooga Mocs head to Florida for the USF Invitational playing in a different, team-oriented format for the 54-hole event.

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team returns to the course on Monday at the USF Invitational in Tampa, Fla. The Mocs are part of a 15-team field tackling Tampa Palms Golf Club.
It's an interesting format seldom used in collegiate golf. All five team members play together rather than spread out across the field. It could prove to benefit the tight-knit team.
No. 22 USF headlines the field. Chattanooga leads the upstarts looking to challenge the Bulls who are the defending champions of the event. To meet that challenge, the Mocs look to build on strong final rounds.
The team is averaging 292.17 through six spring cards. That's nearly two strokes more than the season tally of 290.62. They've put together strong final rounds of 279 (-9) and 286 (-2), but are working on matching that over the opening 36.

- The Mocs have eight cards of 5 under or better so far this season. Oliver Simonsen has four, with one apiece by Will Porter, Etienne Brault, Connor Nolan and Dominic Jones. The most recent was Jones' 67 in his last round at the Martin Downs Collegiate, the spring's first event.
- There have been 14 total rounds in the 60s: Simonsen 7, Brault 2, Porter 1, Bader 1, Jones 1, Cobb 1, Nolan 1.
