CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team moves into the postseason this weekend at the Southern Conference Championships. This year's title hunt returns to the south course at Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head, S.C.

The Mocs finished first (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014) or second (2009, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018) in the last 10 SoCon Championships. Seven of those were competed at Moss Creek. All five Mocs wins were recorded there along with two runners-ups (2009, 2018). The first six were on the north course, while 2018's chase for the crown came on the south.

It is a brand-new look for four of the starters this weekend. Monica San Juan has a sterling record in her three league championship starts with a top 5 and two top 10s. It will be the first SoCon postseason appearance for junior Kirsty Beckwith along with freshmen Esme Hamilton, Rheagan Hall and Dorota Zalewska. Beckwith did finish 11th (2016) and ninth (2017) at the BIG EAST Championships while at St. John's.

The three-day, 54-hole event begins play Sunday and ends Tuesday. Live scoring, pairings and notes are linked above.
