ROCKY FACE, Ga.---The Chattanooga Mocs went one off their opening round pace with a 307 Saturday at the Farm. That puts the crew in 14th with 613 just four behind Virginia in 13th and six clear of Kennesaw State in 15th with 18 holes to play at the Carpet Capital Collegiate.
 
A.J. Lintunen and Moritz Lammel led the way with 4-over par 76s. Matt Smith added 77, while Will Porter turned in 78. Oliver Simonsen tallied the drop score of 80.
 
Porter is low for the Mocs through the full 36 holes at 152. That's a single stroke ahead of Lintunen and Lammel with 153. Smith is another two shots behind at 155, while Simonsen recorded 161 to this point.
 
Georgia Tech (569) holds a 12-stroke lead over second-place UNF. The Yellow Jackets also boast the individual leader, Luke Schneiderjans who is running away with medalist honors at 9 under.
 
The final round opens on No. 10 Sunday morning at 8:24 a.m. The Mocs, are paired again with the Cavaliers and Owls. Admission is free.

• Double-digit birdie total with 10 on the counting cards today. Team leader with three was trio of Oliver Simonsen, Moritz Lammel & Matt Smith. The Mocs have 23 over 36 holes led by Will Porter's eight.
• The squad was 1 over on the par 5s today after opening at 8 under yesterday. Simonsen did not count to that total today but was 3 under.
• Porter is tied for second in the field in par 5 scoring (4.50).
