The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team finished the Mercer Gridiron Classic with a solid showing in doubles on Saturday.  The Mocs took four of six doubles to wrap up the event in Macon, Ga.

Freshman Jessie Young and junior Bodgana Zaporozhets moved to 3-0 on the weekend with two wins today.  They opened with a 8-6 win over Mercer's Maeva Roquebert and Mary Courville.  They also had an 8-6 win over ETSU's Andrea Pascual-Larringa and Maria Fernanda Carvajal.

Sophomore Caroline Gibbens and junior Emma Van Hee scored an 8-6 win over Mercer's Alara Hollyfield and Lekha Verudandi.  Freshmen Callie Billman and Grace Anne Dunavant had the other win, an 8-1 victory over Mercer's Ericka Chavarria and France Antezana.

Dunavant had the lone win in singles.  She took out MTSU's Noelle Mauro in straight sets (6-0, 6-1).

Up next for the Mocs is a trip to the MTSU Invite.  That tournament is Oct. 16-18 in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
