Host Chris Goforth talks with men's golf head coach Mark Guhne (0:35), men's tennis head coach Chuck Merzbacher (17:20) and women's tennis head coach Chad Camper (28:05).
Guhne is a four-time Southern Conference Coach of the Year who just wrapped up his 15th season leading his alma mater. He has guided the Mocs to SoCon titles five times and won the NCAA Bowling Green Regional in 2012. Be sure to check out his updated on the program.
Merzbacher was the 2019 SoCon Coach of the Year who had the Mocs rolling in 2020 before the COVID-19 shutdown. UTC was 12-6 in duals, while senior Niklas Gerdes had a 15-2 mark at No. 1 singles.
Camper also had the women playing well when play was halted in March. UTC was 8-5 overall and the No. 1 doubles tandem of junior Emma Van Hee and sophomore Caroline Gibbens were No. 76 in the national doubles rankings.
