CHATTANOOGA – The Chattanooga Mocs softball program and head coach
Frank Reed have announced the addition of Adison Keylon, a Harrison, Tenn., native and transfer from Bryan College, to the 2021 roster. Keylon carries three years of remaining eligibility.
Batting in the leadoff spot for all 19 games for the Lions in the shortened 2020 season, Keylon led the team in numerous offensive categories including batting average (.439), hits (29), total bases (37) and stolen bases (15). Of the 19 games, she posted 11 multi-hit performances and recorded at least one hit in all but three.
A 2019 graduate of Ooltewah High School, Keylon batted over .400 in her scholastic career, recording over 150 hits, 90 RBI and 10 homeruns. In addition, she stole over 45 bases and reached base at a .450%+ clip in her career while scoring 45 times in a span of just 32 games during her senior season.
The speedy 5'3 outfielder will provide valuable depth and speed to the already talented outfield group of
Gracey Kruse,
Hayleigh Weissenbach and others.
