- The Chattanooga Mocs 85-64 triumph at Lipscomb Sunday evening in Allen Arena…Mocs are now 7-1, while the Bison move to 5-4.
- Won last two trips to the Nashville area beating Middle Tennessee (80-70) and Tennessee State (66-63) last year...last loss was Dec. 17, 2016 at Vandy (74-76) on a late three...last visit to Lipscomb was an 80-56 blowout victory on Dec. 29, 2015.

- Malachi Smith had 27 points, seven rebounds and seven assists (ties career high)...4th 20-point effort of the season, 10th career.
- Smith likes playing in Nashville with 56 points and 20 rebounds in two games in the Music City...had 29 points and 13 rebounds leading last year's comeback win at Tennessee State. 
- David Jean-Baptiste scored 24 points on 8-12 shooting, 7-10 from beyond the arc…career high for 3s made...had 18 in the second half including making 5-6 from 3pt range…seven threes are the most by a Moc since Stefan Kenic's 7-7 in the OT win over Western Carolina last February…11th 20-point effort.
- Second time this season Smith & Jean-Baptiste both scored 20 points in a game...DJB had 26 while Mali poured in 21 in the season opening win at Loyola Marymount...5th time together overall.
- Jean-Baptiste is averaging 20.0 ppg on the road this season…12th point was 1,400 for his career…passed Ralph Simpson '73 (1,400), who finished with 1,400 on the number and Nicchaeus Doaks '09 (1,411) into eighth all-time at UTC…his 1,412 total is 37 short of the legendary trio of Gerald Wilkins (1983-85), Brandon Born (1991-95) and Walter "Moose" McGary (1972-74). 
- DJB now has 226 3pt made which is second all-time at Chattanooga behind Stephen McDowell's (2008-09) 243.
- UTC career-high 12 rebounds for Darius Banks…his collegiate best is 15 against Elon in 2018 for James Madison.
- 11 points and seven rebounds for Silvio DeSousa…five straight games in double figures averaging 15.6 points and 8.6 boards per game over that span.
