The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team hosts Western Kentucky and Austin Peay this weekend. The Hilltoppers visit the Scenic City on Friday, Feb. 12, while the Governors are in town on Sunday, Feb. 14. Both matches take place at McCallie's Strang-Voges Tennis Center.

First serve against WKU is set for 6:30 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Friday. Sunday's dual with Austin Peay starts at 1:00 p.m.
"We are excited to host a couple of matches this weekend," stated UTC head coach
Chad Camper. "Both are quality teams and each court will be heavily contested. It will be college tennis at its best!"
The Mocs are off to a 4-0 start to the spring season. Sophomore
Polina Goloputova leads the team with a 6-0 singles record, including a 4-0 mark in the spring. Junior
Emma Van Hee is 4-0 at No. 2, while sophomore
Caroline Gibbens is 3-0 at No. 6.
Doubles has been up and down, but UTC has managed to take the point in each of the last two outings. Junior
Bogdana Zaporozhets and freshman
Jessie Young are 2-0 at No. 2, while freshmen Wilma Berqgvist and
Callie Billman are 2-0 at No. 3.
Western Kentucky is 1-4 overall, including a win over Bellarmine (7-0) and losses to No. 15 Vanderbilt (0-7), Lipscomb (2-4), Kentucky (0-7) and Northern Kentucky (1-4). The Mocs are 8-2 in the all-time series, but the Hilltoppers have won the last two meetings. The last match in the series was a 4-1 WKU win in Chattanooga on March 31, 2017.
The Governors are 1-0 following a 4-3 win against Central Arkansas on Jan. 24. UTC is 20-3 all-time against Austin Peay. The Mocs scored a 4-3 win in Clarksville on Jan. 20, 2020, but the Governors had a 4-3 win in their last visit to Chattanooga on Jan. 20, 2019.
