GENERAL
- The Chattanooga Mocs rolled to a 75-68 win on the Southern Conference road at Wofford Wednesday night…Mocs are now 12-3, 2-0 in the league…the Terriers move to 8-6, 0-2 In the SoCon.
- 10-1 when scoring 75 or more points.
- 18-7 in last 25 road games…10-8 since the start of the 2019-20 season on the road in conference contests.
- Last time 12-3 or better? 13-2 start in 2015-16…4th time 12-3 in program history (1972-73, ,1982-83, 1993-94)…12-3 or better for the 12th occasion…all-time best record through 15 games? 14-1 in 1973-74.
- David Jean-Baptiste became the Mocs all-time leader in 3pt baskets with 1:14 left to go in the first half…the leading three came off the fast break with a steal by Darius Banks and his back pass on the break to DJB on the right wing…he passes Stephen McDowell '09 who hit 243 over two seasons culminating in the 2009 SoCon Tournament crown and trip to NCAA Tournament in Philadelphia.
- Entered the game ranked No. 68 nationally in the Bilas Index on ESPN.com...it's the ranking of the 
- No. 13 in the collegeinsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll…Wofford is among others receiving votes.
- No. 15 in the Field of 68 Mid-Major Top 25.
- 12 3pt made ties season high for the Mocs…also recorded 12 against Covenant, at Lipscomb and Tennessee Wesleyan.
- 16 assists for the second straight game…four different Mocs had three or more: Banks (4), Jean-Baptiste (4), Malachi Smith (3) & A.J. Caldwell (3).
- +4 in turnover margin (11-15) but even in points off turnovers with 15 apiece.
- Led for 33:20 of the 40 minutes with just two lead changes and one tie.
- +12 in bench points (15-3).
- -11 rebound margin (23-34) is lowest of the season…worst since -14 (26-40) in the home loss to UNC Greensboro last January…season-low three offensive boards…only the second time this season with less than 10 on offensive glass (7 at Murray State)…23 total rebounds are fewest since 22 in the 84-77 win at Wofford on Feb. 8, 2020.
- 10 steals…fourth game this season with double-digit thefts…most in a SoCon contest since 12 at Western Carolina last February.
- 1,371-1,110 in season No. 103…45th campaign as a DI program with an 825-541 ledger.
- 442-272 in 45th SoCon campaign…242-80 in the Roundhouse in league play.
- 50-39 all-time on Game 15 of the campaign…last year's game 15 was also against Wofford dropping a 77-59 decision in the Roundhouse.
- 19-12 all-time on Jan. 5…that includes 14-2 in SoCon action…8-11 in away games…1-1 against Wofford.

- Another day, another 20pt night for Malachi Smith…ended up with 24 on 7-12 shooting (5-8 3pt) and 5-8 at the FT line…ninth of the season…183 points (22.9 ppg) in eight road games with 20+ each time…nine straight road games with 20+ dating back to the road finale at Mercer (22) last season.
- Season-high five 3pt made by Smith…fourth time with three or more this campaign…ties career best set last year in Macon.
- 45 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and five steals in two games in Spartanburg for Smith.
- Two blocks for A.J. Caldwell…1st multi-block game of 2021-22 and third of career tying career high set last year in wins at Tennessee State and home against The Citadel…10th game with multiple blocks by a Moc this campaign…comes on the anniversary of Justin Tuoyo '16 setting the school career record in 2016 (also on game 15).
- 17 points for David Jean-Baptiste…5-9 from three, 6-11 overall shooting…fifth-place on the Mocs all-time scoring list…his 1,496 points are 152 shy of fourth-place David Bryan's (1966-69) 1,648.
- DJB's fifth game with five or more threes…multiple treys in 12 games this season…three shy of 250 for his career.
- Fifth game in double figures for Darius Banks…12 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals.
- Banks bested 1,300 points on his second basket of the first half…scored 1,069 points in three seasons at James Madison (2018-20)…240 points in 27 games for the Mocs.
- Silvio De Sousa, Jamaal Walker and Ashton Smith were unavailable for tonight's game…due to HIPAA regulations, we do not disclose student welfare.
