CHATTANOOGA – The Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team looks to extend its four-match winning streak this weekend on the road when it travels to South Carolina to face Wofford on Friday in Spartanburg and Furman on Saturday in Greenville for the start of the second half of league play.
Friday's match at Wofford will begin at 5 p.m. ET while Saturday will carry a 7 p.m. ET start time. Both matches will be LIVE on ESPN+ through the Watch ESPN and ESPN App platforms. Links are available below and on the schedule page.
Chattanooga (11-12, 5-3 SoCon) extended its current win streak to four matches after picking up a pair of wins last weekend, defeating SoCon foe The Citadel 3-1 on Friday and non-conference opponent Alabama A&M 3-0 on Sunday. The four-match win streak ties the longest for the program since 2016.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Chattanooga leads the all-time series over Wofford 32-13 but trails in the all-time series on the road with a 10-11 record. The Mocs defeated Wofford, the preseason conference favorites, in straight sets inside Maclellan Gym back on September 24.
Furman holds a commanding 49-28 all-time lead over Chattanooga in the series' history. UTC opened the SoCon slate this season with a 3-1 victory over the Paladins in Maclellan Gymnasium on September 23.
SCOUTING WOFFORD
After starting the SoCon schedule off with an 0-2 record, Wofford rallied to win its next four matches, all at home, to up its league record to 4-2. The Terriers have lost the last two matches, both on the road, to Mercer and Samford and now sit in fifth place with an even 4-4 mark. Wofford is led by the SoCon's most efficient hitter Millie Loehr who has recorded 149 kills at a .399 clip this season.
SCOUTING FURMAN
Furman started the conference slate with seven-straight losses before snapping the streak last Saturday with a 3-0 home sweep over UNCG during Alumni Weekend. The Paladins dropped to 1-8 in the SoCon after a 3-0 road loss at The Citadel on Wednesday. Furman ranks second in the SoCon this season as a team with a 2.13 blocks per set average just ahead of third-ranked Chattanooga at 2.08.
GALLENTINE EARNS HISTORIC HONOR

Paige Gallentine was named the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. The weekly honor is the fifth of her career, tying the program record for the most selections in a career (Rachel Evans & Paula Passmore). She was named the DPOTW three times last season to become the third Moc to achieve the feat.
GALLENTINE CLIMBING CAREER CHARTS
Third-year sophomore libero
Paige Gallentine recorded her 20th double-digit dig of the season on Sunday and 60th of her career to continue her impressive young career at UTC. Gallentine, the SoCon's leader in digs per set and total digs, ranks 11th in program history and is just five digs shy of tying Dominique Mayor (1,260) for 10th.
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Chattanooga is now 7-1 this season inside Maclellan Gymnasium with its lone loss coming in five sets to Miami (OH) in the Chattanooga Classic title match. The seven home wins are the most in a season since eight in 2018.
