CHATTANOOGA---The 11th-ranked Chattanooga Mocs are back in action Saturday for Senior Day at Finley Stadium. The regular season home finale sees a visit from No. 9 Samford. The Mocs and Bulldogs are part of a pivotal Saturday in the Southern Conference race.
 
It's Senior Day. The Mocs are honoring 14 who are playing their final regular season game in Finley Stadium. It's also Youth Day with a free ticket to youth 12-and-under dressed in their football or cheerleading uniforms with a paying adult.
 
The list includes DB CaMiron Smith, DB Zay Brown, QB Preston Hutchinson, WR Tyron Arnett, QB Cole Copeland, WR Jahmar Quandt, EDGE Austin Collier, P Jason Pierce, LB Ty Boeck, OL McClendon Curtis, LB Kam Jones, P Gabe Boring, OL Lucas Lavin & DT Devonnsha Maxwell.

"It's getting ourselves better. We have to find a way to execute every single down, every play and find ways not to beat ourselves. Basically, play the game the best that we're capable of doing. Just be focused on that (not the outside noise)."
 
Junior DB Kameron Brown on the challenge of the potent Samford pass plan:
"It's a big challenge. They've run their offense all season, and they get better week by week. We'll have a good gameplan and study film and try to be ready for anything that they bring out."
 
3 NOTES TO KNOW

• Junior RB Ailym Ford's 16 100-yard rushing games is tied for the most in school history with Gwain Durden '80.
• Samford has one of the nation's most proficient passing attacks averaging 281.1 ypg with 27 TD against just three INTs. The Mocs are the best in the league at getting after the QB (27 sacks).
• Kameron Brown is the league leader and third in the nation in interceptions per game (0.6). He got his fifth last week in the win at The Citadel.
