AUGUSTA---The Chattanooga Mocs finished the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational with 298 Sunday. That gave the Mocs a 54-hole total of 891 at Forest Hills Golf Club. Today's leader was Alex Cobb.

Cobb turned in 1-under 71. That matched Paul Conroy's opening tally in yesterday's opening 18 for best of the tournament by a Moc. Braedon Wear added 73 today with Conroy record 76. Connor Nolan and Matt Smith shared the final counting score with 78.
 
Wear had a consistent three cards ending with a Chattanooga-best 220 (+4). Conroy and Cobb both registered 221 as Nolan finished at 229. Smith shot 235.
 
No. 12 Texas was the runaway winner over second-round Oklahoma State by 26 strokes. No. 24 Illinois was a distant third. The Longhorns Pierceson Coody's 17-under 199 claimed medalist honors.
 
"It was a really strong field," interim coach Miles Moseley began. "I knew it would be a difficult challenge. We didn't have our best stuff for sure. We have a lot of work to get ready for the conference tournament in a few weeks.
 
"We'll put together a solid plan and get to work."
