CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team wrapped up its first home event of the 2023-24 campaign on Sunday after hosting three successful days of the annual UTC Fall Invite held on campus Friday through Sunday at the UTC Tennis Center.
The team recorded nine wins between doubles and singles play over the three days while competing against the likes of Jacksonville State, North Alabama and Bellarmine. There was a lot to like and a lot to learn this weekend according to head coach
Chad Camper.
"The team really fought hard and faced adversity well. College tennis is about learning each day and each match," said Camper.
"There is a lot of fall season remaining and we look forward to continuing to improve."
Full UTC results can be found below. Chattanooga will eye next weekend's annual Homecoming "Alumni Match" on Saturday, October 7 at the UTC Tennis Center. First serve is slated 9 a.m. ET alongside the men's program.
