CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs are back in action this weekend facing their first dual matches of the season. It starts in Athens, Ohio against Ohio and Ashland. It's the first of three separate weekend pairings for fall duals.
 
The Mocs are coming off an opening performance at the Southeast Open. Seven placed in the Freshman/Sophomore Division led by runner-up finishes by Kamdyn Munto (165) and Sergio Desiante (174).
 
"I think we need to be a little more assertive, have a little bit more confidence, but I think we're making young mistakes," Coach Kyle Ruschell shared reflecting on how last week's tournament start shifts into this one's duals. "I think we just need to grow a little bit over this week and allow ourselves to grow up in these positions.
 
"Because we're a young team, we're gonna get better throughout the year. It's just a matter of knowing where we want to get to and forcing those positions."
