GAME NOTES

CHATTANOOGA (Dec. 8, 2023) --- The Chattanooga Mocs men's basketball team will look to rebound from consecutive defeats when it hosts NAIA-member Tennessee Wesleyan for a non-conference matchup on Sunday afternoon inside McKenzie Arena. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. ET on ESPN+.

Chattanooga (5-3) has dropped three of its last four games after most recently suffering an 87-80 road loss at Morehead State last Sunday afternoon. UTC struggled defensively in the contest in which it allowed MSU to shoot north of 57% from the field. Jan Zidek led the scoring efforts for the Mocs with 19 points while Honor Huff notched his seventh-straight game with 16 or more, finishing with 16 points and also tying a career-high with six assists.

NAIA-member Tennessee Wesleyan (3-6, as of 12/8) travels to Chattanooga for the sixth time since the 2015-16 season with the most recent matchup coming on December 12, 2021 (UTC 104, TWU 55). The Bulldogs are the Mocs most frequent non-conference opponent in program history ahead of the 70th all-time meeting on Sunday. TWU faces a road contest at Kentucky Christian on Saturday afternoon before Sunday's meeting, which is an exhibition for the team.
