CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis team returns home for Friday and Sunday morning non-conference matchups against EKU and Presbyterian at the Strang-Voges Tennis Center at The McCallie School. First serve for both matches are set for 9 a.m. ET.
Chattanooga (3-1) looks to rebound from its first defeat of the season last Friday after suffering a tight 4-3 loss to Middle Tennessee. It marks the first matchup between UTC and EKU since 2016 and eighth overall while the Mocs face Presbyterian for the fourth-straight season.
"Both teams this weekend are gritty and play hard every point," said head coach
Chad Camper.
"We have to stay focused and dialed in to each court and stay positive in both matches."
EKU heads into Friday morning's match with a 1-5 record this season and is in search of snapping a four-match skid. The Mocs and Colonels will meet for just the eighth time in each of the program's history with UTC holding a 5-2 edge in the all-time encounters.
PC comes to the Scenic City with a 1-4 record and is also aiming to snap a four-match losing streak. Chattanooga holds a 3-0 all-time record against the Blue Hose with all three meetings occurring in the last three season.
Live stats for both matches will be available on GoMocs.com with full results and recaps following conclusion of action each day. All match day links can be found on the schedule page.
