MARTIN, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs beach volleyball team kicked off Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) play on a rain-soaked Tuesday afternoon and dropped a pair of 5-0 decisions at UT Martin at the Skyhawk Beach Complex.
 
Following the pair of defeats, Chattanooga drops to 4-5 overall and 0-1 in OVC play. UT Martin improves to 8-6 on the season and 1-0 inside league action. Only the first match of the doubleheader counted towards conference tallies.
 
Chattanooga suffered defeats in all ten matchups during the rain-driven event on Tuesday. UTC now holds a 2-6 all-time record against UT Martin and have dropped the last three against the Skyhawks in the series.
 
The Mocs (4-5, 0-1 OVC) returns to action this weekend when it welcomes all OVC members for the OVC Weekend at Chattanooga held at the UTC Sports Complex on Friday and Saturday. The full weekend schedule and future live scoring for all matches can be found HERE or also on the schedule page.
