CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga Mocs beach volleyball team wrapped up play at the Govs Beach Bash with a doubleheader split, earning a 3-2 win over Jacksonville State and dropping a 3-2 contest to Austin Peay, on Saturday afternoon in Clarksville, Tenn.
 
Following the split, Chattanooga moves to 14-12 overall this season. Austin Peay improved to 16-10 while Jacksonville State dropped to 0-17-3 after the matchups against UTC.
 
The top duo of Neva Clark and Joy Courtright posted a 21-16, 21-15 victory against Jacksonville State's top pairing to clinch the opening match for the Mocs. Madelina Myers-Osband and Kaye Gresham posted a 21-13, 21-10 win at No. 5 while Halle Olson and Julia Davis chipped in with a 21-16, 21-9 win at No. 4 to aid the winning efforts.
 
Chattanooga returns to action next weekend to conclude Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) regular season play ahead of the league tournament. The Mocs will travel to Morehead State for a weekend of action against four OVC opponents.
