JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. --- After a shutout in Game One, Chattanooga came back and held ETSU scoreless over the first six innings of Game Two to split the Saturday double header. The Bucs won the first game 9-0 in five innings and the Mocs took the second 6-1.

The Mocs hit .256 on the day with 11 hits, six runs, six RBI and three doubles.
Riley Kokinda went 3-for-5 (.600) for the day and drove in a run in the second game.
Kaili Phillips was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI with a 1.000 slugging percentage.

Chattanooga moves to 20-18 on the year and 3-5 in Southern Conference play. ETSU is 11-28 overall and 4-6 in league action.

ETSU 9, CHATTANOOGA 0
The Bucs scored in each of the first three innings and held the Mocs without a run on just one hit to get the 9-0 win in five.

Riley Kokinda singled to short in the first and that would be the only hit for the Mocs in the game.
Kaili Phillips led off the second with a walk and advanced to second on a walk by
Jayce Purdy, but the pair was stranded after a pair of groundouts to end the inning.

Olivia Lipari led off the fourth with a walk, but was caught stealing on the next pitch.
Â
Peja Goold started the inning but was lifted in the first after a triple cleared the bags.
Alyssa Lavdis finished the first and had one earned run and one unearned in the second. ETSU scored another run in the third before
Izzy Alley entered the game.

Goold and Lavdis combined for all seven hits and nine runs. Alley struck out two on eight batters faced over two innings.

The Mocs were 10-for-29 in game two that included three doubles.

Kaili Phillips went 2-for-3 with two RBI on a pair of doubles and reached on a walk.
Riley Kokinda was 2-for-3 in the game with an RBI.

UTC got on the board first starting with a Kokinda single.
Hannah Pfeifer grounded, moving Kokinda to second. Phillips hit the first of her doubles in the third to score Kokinda from second, putting UTC up 1-0.
Emily Coltharp reached when the ball was bobbled on the scoop scoring Phillip from second as well.

Chattanooga led 2-0 after the third and continued to hold off the Bucs who stranded two over the next two innings.

Addy Keylon led off the fifth with a single and moved to second on a passed ball. Kokinda connected for her second straight hit, sending Keylon home on a single to left field.

The Mocs loaded the bases but were unable to get another run across the plate in the inning.

In the seventh,
Hannah Pfeifer hit a pop fly into shallow left field and ETSU was unable to get under the ball in time, putting her on second. Phillips followed that with a double of her own down the left field line, driving home Pfeifer to put the Mocs up 4-0 with nobody out.

Coltharp singled to put runners at the corners then stole second to move into scoring position.
Anna Dovey pinch hit for
Olivia Lipari and hit a sac fly to score Phillips and moved Coltharp to third.
Acelynn Sellers hit a sac fly to center field, sending Coltharp home for UTC's sixth run, third of the inning.
Brooke Parrott pitched all seven innings and earned the win.
The Bucs led off the bottom of the inning with a solo home run but didn't put another runner on to give the Mocs the win.
