MARTIN, Tenn. --- The No. 2 seeded Chattanooga Mocs beach volleyball team concluded its season in the semifinal round of the 2023 Ohio Valley Conference Tournament after falling 3-1 to No. 3 Morehead State on Saturday afternoon in Martin, Tenn.

Following the loss, Chattanooga concludes the season 19-15 overall which marks the most wins in a single season for the program since its creation in 2020. Morehead State improved to 14-12 after the win and advanced to the title match before falling to No. 1 UT Martin 3-0 in the winner-take-all format.

The No. 2 duo for the Mocs of
McKenna Faychak and
Maddie Lecik were named to the 2023 OVC All-Tournament Team after finishing the event a perfect 4-0. The pair earned a 21-15, 21-15 win today to cut the team's deficit to 2-1 with two matches remaining.

UT Martin clinches the OVC's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament which will be held next week in Gulf Shores, Ala. It marks back-to-back titles for the Skyhawks.
