CHATTANOOGA---It's almost here! The 2023 home opener against Kennesaw State is right around the corner. It's a busy weekend of promotions and possibilities. Here's all you need to know in advance of Saturday's 6 p.m., kickoff.

PROMOTIONS
This week at Finley Stadium is jam-packed with promotions. In order of appearance…

• Youth Night
  All youth 12 & under (any sport & spirit squads) in uniform get a free ticket into the game with a paying adult. Tickets must be picked up at the ticket booth prior to entering the stadium.
• Giveaway Item

Headbands to first 1,000 in attendance

• Mini Mocs Walk
  Young Mocs are welcome to join the band and spirit groups Spirit Walk. This initiative was headed up by the alumni office. The Spirit Walk is when the band and spirit squads march through the First Horizon Pavilion to lead tailgating fans into the stands for pregame festivities.
• Academic Night
  The Mocs honor all student-athletes who completed 2022-23 with a 3.0 grade point average.
• Mocs Flock Finley
  The annual first-year student dash from the Finley Stadium onto the field takes place right after the academic recognition pre-game.
• Night of Champions
  The Mocs SoCon Championship teams and individuals will be honored on the field during media timeouts including the Championship Ring Presentation for the 2022 soccer program.

 
WEATHER FORECAST
Nothing like seeing a September high temperature for a gameday with 83 degrees touted on the interwebs. The low drops to 66 so it looks like a comfortable night from kickoff to the playing of the alma mater afterwards. Add in another picturesque Finley Stadium sunset…it doesn't get much better than a Saturday night in Chattanooga.
 
TICKETS
Season tickets are available through gameday starting at $60 ($12 per game). Single-game start at $15.

If you wait until gameday, prices rise $2. The ticket booth at First Horizon Pavilion opens at 3 p.m. North and South Ticket Booths begin sales at 4 p.m. Gates open 90 minutes before the game.
 
STUDENT INFORMATION
Entry to all Chattanooga athletics events is free to students. Students should register for student tickets for the ticketed sports of football, men's and women's basketball, wrestling and softball. Information for students including ticketing, parking, transportation, etc., is here.
 
EVERYTHING IS CASHLESS NOW ON GAMEDAYS
No cash will change hands at Mocs athletics venues in 2023-24. That includes tickets, concessions, merchandising and even parking. Be prepared to pay by credit card when coming to enjoy the hard-working efforts of our student-athletes and coaches.
 
CONCESSION ADDITIONS
Finley Stadium has added some new wrinkles along with old standbys in providing premier service to its visitors. One is the Fort Finley Grab+Go Market with snacks and beverages. The lineup just inside the St. Elmo Gates also includes Windy City Eatz, Chestnut Bakes, The Kettlecorn Man, Miller's Original Lemonade, The Max Grilleworks and Reggie's BBQ & Nachos. PARKING & TAILGATING
It's tough to beat tailgating in the Pavilion. If you have not joined the Mocs Club at a level that includes parking at athletics events, it's $15 per space in the open lots. Several adjoining lots are reserved for donors as well as other figures central to the event.

MOC WALK/MOC ROCK
The Moc Walk tradition continues this season with the team arriving at First Horizon Pavilion and making their way through our phenomenal tailgating area next to Finley Stadium. The Moc Walk is approximately 2:15 prior to kickoff, in this case, 3:45 p.m.
 
The Marching Mocs also offer a gameday feature, the Mocs Rock Concert. It starts 45 minutes before game time (5:15 pm this week) in conjunction with the spirit parade through the Pavilion signaling the fans' move to the stadium.
 
CLEAR BAG POLICY
There is a clear bag policy in place for all Mocs athletics events. Fans are allowed to bring in one plastic, vinyl or PVC clear bag that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" to home games at Finley Stadium. Check it out here.
 
GEAR
The Barnes & Noble Fan Store is in the Stadium Club in the south concourse of the stadium.
