DURHAM, N.C.---The Chattanooga Mocs ran away with a 33-11 win at Duke Friday evening. The Mocs won the first seven matchups to move to 6-2 on the campaign. In all six wins, the match was clinched within the opening seven bouts.
 
It began with a decision for Brayden Palmer at 125. That was followed by tech falls for Blake Boarman (133) and Isaiah Powe (149). Noah Castillo extended the lead to 17-0 with an 11-2 major decision getting the bonus point with two takedowns in the final minute of the bout.
 
Lincoln Heck kept the pressure on with a 17-3 major decision at 157. Kamdyn Munro got a decision at 165 before Sergio Desiante clinched the match at 174 by way of a dominant 18-2 tech fall. David Harper claimed another major at 197 sandwiched between losses at 184 and 285.

• First win over an ACC program since a 19-18 triumph at No. 19 Virginia on Feb. 14, 2016.
• Fifth time with eight or more match wins.
• Got the first takedown in eight of 10 matches. Now 53-3 (.946) when recording the first takedown.
• Undefeated on the year at 133 (Boarman 8-0) and 149 (Castillo 6-0/Matt Williams 2-0). 7-1 at 125, 141, 165 and 174.
• 30-2 on the campaign at the 125-149 weight classes.
• Castillo (10-2) and Desiante (10-4) became the fourth and fifth Mocs to reach double-digit wins this season. They join Powe (12-2), Munro (12-4) and Boarman (11-2).
• Bonus points in six matches. Earned bonus points in 42 of 58 dual match victories this season.
• Boarman continues to lead the way individually with 36 points scored. That's 4.5 points per match.
• Another match with multiple tech falls (3). That's 14 in the last three duals for the good guys: Boarman (3), Desiante (3), Munro (2), Harper (2), Heck (1), Powe (1), Dayne Dalrymple (1) & Ty Tice (1).
• Boarman (12) and Munro (10) are just ahead of Harper (9) in bonus points scored so far. Ty Tice (125) has eight with Powe next at six.
