DALLAS, Texas --- Chattanooga softball head coach was honored by the National Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association in Dallas, Texas on December 7 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, Texas for his 1200 career victories.

Reed picked up the milestone victory in a come-from-behind 4-2 win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi in the first game of the annual Frost Classic. The win came in his 34
th year of coaching and 23
rd at Chattanooga. He spent 11 seasons with Chattanooga State amassing 476 wins at the junior college level. Reed has 1,234 career victories and 758 at Chattanooga.

Reed ranks among the Top 40 active coaches in the NCAA for wins. He was recognized for his milestone win with a Victory Club recognition last week in Dallas.

th season at the Chattanooga helm on February 7 at the Franklin Griffin Classic hosted by Stetson in DeLand, Fla.
