PREVIEW: Wrestlers Hit the Road to Close Pre-Holiday Schedule

Eli Knight and the Chattanooga Mocs wrestling team open the final road trip of 2024 at No. 20 Little Rock.

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs wrestling squad heads west this week to Arkansas and Oklahoma putting a bow on the 2024 portion of the schedule. The Mocs start the trip Monday night with a visit to No. 20 Little Rock.
 
The two squads meet at 8 p.m., Eastern time. The match is broadcast on the Trojans' website via the Little Rock Sports Network.
 
The Mocs look to pull the double whammy getting their first win of the season while putting the first dent on the Trojans' ledger. It's the fourth straight season the two have met with Little Rock holding a narrow 2-1 advantage over the previous three.
 
Chattanooga moves on to Norman, Okla., after the dual. The Mocs compete Saturday in the Norman Duals.

  • Former Mocs 125 Javier Maldanado is the associate head coach for the Trojans. Maldanado competed from the 2005 season through 2008 compiling an 82-36 mark while winning three Southern Conference titles at 125 (2006-08).
